The First Worked in Lock Replacement Parts

I bought these keys to see if I could open a cabinet that had been locked for 20 years. I never thought it was worth spending $50-$100 to have a locksmith open it for me so I decided to spend $30+. Several reviews indicated that the buyer used 3, 4 or 5 keys before opening the lock. The first one I chose worked. Worth the effort and expense.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Can't remember

Great lock pick set

An amateur locksmith is here and it took a hell of a long time to open our antique cabinet with my fancy tools after the flange of the original key broke during the drive out. They worked great and are a nice addition to my collection. Besides, they look great. FYI if I remember correctly these are actually 2 copies of 5 different keys, each with a different finish (brass or gold). But they work and I like them.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I can't remember but there was something

Lock replacement parts worked best for me

I had an early 1900's bookcase and a 1920's bureau/bookcase that didn't have keys when I bought them. Thanks to these key copies, I was finally able to lock both. The keys themselves feel solid and are the right weight for true vintage keys. Trial and error has figured out which key goes with which lock, but this appears to be a set that includes the most common sizes, so you probably have a good chance of finding the right lock for your antique furniture.

Pros
  • good item
Cons
  • no performance

The 10th key was a charm!

Moving into our new home, a very helpful relative found a lockpick and tried to see if it would fit on the Chippendale secretary's door. Before I could say stop, the key turned and the door locked. The real key was taped in one of the drawers behind the lock door! Unfortunately the key that locked the secretary didn't work to open it. (Don't ask why, but I've been trying for hours). This set of 10 keys arrived quickly and I eagerly began testing each key one at a time. At the 9th key I started…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Some downsides

None of the keys worked for me!

Not my best buy! After reading so many reviews and thinking that if I just order one key I only have one chance of making it work, I decided to bite the bullet and order this whole set of keys! They were delivered this afternoon and I was excited to try them out, especially as so many people have said they match modern jewelry boxes! Well, I recycle the jewelry boxes I find at thrift stores and flea markets, and many obviously don't have the keys anymore! I thought maybe some of these keys…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
