Increased ground clearance

This truck is not used for work but the shock absorber was leaking. After the replacement, the truck body became much higher and smoother.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • No machine

Exact replacement for my 2000 Sienna (old one badly rusted)

Exact replacement for my 2000 Sienna (old one badly rusted). Easy to install, no problem. Saved a little while shopping. Made in Japan, high quality, A+. I took my time installing it and it could take 90 minutes to swap out both.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Frequency

The very first Ikea style wordless instructions included in the kit.

The first-ever Ikea-style wordless instructions included with the kit advise that the exact size of the hole be drilled in the shock body, fill with fluid and the now-empty shock be properly disposed of. After doing this on three different sets of shocks, I realized that these specific instructions MUST BE AT THE END. If you draw the instructions to start with the old shock, STILL ON THE CAR, it all makes sense. After that, the installation was pretty easy.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Legacy Model

OEM - Factory drivability restored. Great price and great ride.

Can't match their price. For normal road use, I prefer twin-tube shocks to mono-tube shocks. Monotubes are always a bit stiffer over hard bumps, which can be good off-road, but most of the time you want the suspension to use just the right amount of travel to smooth out the ride without sagging. difficult. Some of them are made in Mexico and others in Japan. Nothing worse than the Mexican production has not yet been noticed.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Zero

Perfect fit and smooth ride

Replacing the rear shock absorbers on my 2000 Toyota Sienna went very smoothly. Be careful not to overtighten the bottom bolts (one broke because I had the wrong torque rating and I had to pull out the broken bolt and buy a new bolt). These shocks fit perfectly and now my van no longer rolls around corners or "squats" when accelerating from a standstill. This is a great (and cheap) way to rebuild like a new ride on my old van (135,000 miles). I didn't realize how much it would improve…

Pros
  • Excellent fit for me
Cons
  • No instructions
