This is a great replacement for OEM

This is a great OEM replacement. I didn't want a hard ride, I wanted a firm, smooth ride and this fits right in. Traded in for new tires + these KYBs = great ride on my 1982 Datsun 720 Mini Truck.

Pros
  • . Specially calibrated to restore original Nissan truck handling and ride characteristics.
Cons
  • Low repairability.

Others tried to sell me 4WD shock absorbers for a 2WD pickup.

Shock absorbers fit and work properly. Others I have contacted have tried to tell me that the 4WD shocks are the same as the 2WD shocks for the 720 pickup. Not true. 4WD shocks are too long and bottom out on small bumps, plus they have too much pressure and when we're driving on a rough road like I-84 west of La Grande OR we felt like we didn't have shocks for everything , only solid bumpers, boeing, boeing boeing.

Pros
  • Uses a seamless slave cylinder in combination with a Teflon-coated piston band for reliable sealing and longer life.
Cons
  • Fits
