Good for the price.

I bought KYBs because they were said to be better than cheap shock absorbers. Good price for what they are but they are nowhere near as heavy as the stock shocks on my Ford Super Duty.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No instructions

They seem to work great on my 1995 Ford E-250 R/V.

These shocks are smaller in diameter than the original Ford Autocraft shocks for easier installation. They seem to work great on my 1995 Ford E-250 R/V.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Weak

Too soft, like worn shock absorbers right out of the box.

Installed on 2WD 2002 excursion diesel, too bad it wasn't. Even without passengers and cargo, they're very soft, and the front end jumps as if the dampers were worn out. On a lighter truck they may work well.

Pros
  • In a large selection
Cons
  • For pensioners

Dollar for Dollar Good Shock

Dollar for Dollar I Like KYB Shocks! I have never experienced early rejection or poor performance. More expensive brands may be of better quality, but I'm happy with KYB so far. It fit right on the front of the 99 F350.

Pros
  • Great for Me
Cons
  • Exchange Available

Obsolete shock absorbers, NOT recommended

These shock absorbers were/are junk. I put them on my truck and felt great for a few days, by the 4th day they just turned to rubbish. felt worse than the ones I took off and they were shot. The reason I didn't send them back is because I thought there was something else wrong. So I checked everything else and even put new tires on the front. still felt/drove like crap. Finally I removed the shocks to check and absolutely no rebound. just dead

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Appearance
