Looks like nice beats! Packaging could be better

Good hits! The packaging could be a little better. The crates were damaged by a hair but there was no visible damage to the punches themselves. Will update as soon as I install them!

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • For old

Improved drivability is good for shocks, struts and suspension

Genuine GM shocks have done 150,000 miles and are still good. I went ahead and put those KYB shocks forward and REALLY felt the ride improvement. Good price and easy installation. Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Release 2001.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Non-Automatic Transmission

Great shock absorber, strut and suspension shock absorber

Installed on Silverado Extended Cab 2002 2wd. The truck also has large 275/55/20 wheels and tires. The height is standard in the front, two inches lower in the rear. The handling has greatly improved. No more body rolling. The suspension feels stiffer, planted and more manageable. Not too heavy, almost perfect.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Good price Shock absorbers

The last 5000 miles the truck has been very tough so I knew it was time to replace the shock absorbers. The KYB ride is smooth and easy to install. I like boots that cover and seal the upper to keep water and mud out.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

Significant Improvement in Handling

The 2003 Silverado handles much better than new. The original dampers were still fine. With their installation, a surprising improvement was achieved when driving at high speed on winding mountain roads. The truck handled the road just as well as my new Audi.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • No Performance

excellent shock absorber best shock absorber

I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado with a 4/6 drop. I originally bought Edelbrock ias. Texas roads have too many dips/pits to work. I bought Belltechs and Doetchtechs, they were waste - same result sailing a Sialic boat. So this time I found out and called kyb before I ordered and told them I wanted the stiffest shock they have. These Monomax are 30-35% stiffer than the factory tires. I can tell it was a slut to dress her up whether I had a lift or not. Well worth it. I like to ride behind another…

Pros
  • understandable even for the old one
Cons
  • low maintainability
