KYB KG54103 Gas-a-Just Gas Shock: High-Performance Dampening for Enhanced Ride Quality Review

I've tried these things on my 3500 Megacab and they are by far the worst shocks I've ever put on a truck. They fit very poorly and the ride quality is terrible. I will receive another set as soon as possible.

I chose between Billstiens and KYB shocks for my Dodge Cummins 05. I chose KYB because of the price difference and honestly couldn't be happier. The KYBs were a replacement for the NAPA Reflex, making my truck feel like it was going to fall apart after 500 miles on them. I currently have 15,000 on KYB and hold on tight and drive a truck well.

I don't know why you read that these shocks are too hard and produce a rough ride. I've used this on a 2004 diesel Dodge and the ride is the same as the factory shocks, no better or worse of course other than the added wobble of the old worn out factory shocks, so I don't see it as a performance boost as stated on the kib website. I am very happy with the dampers themselves. They get 5 stars. BUT the instructions in the boxes were crap. No words, only pictures. As a John Deere service technician, I work with instructions like this almost every day. But even they were hard to follow. I think I expected too much from the instructions printed in Malaysia.
