perfect fit and function.

I replaced my entire RTD (Real Time Damping) system on my Denali with a stock damper without electronic controls. I've done all fours and eliminated error-prone OEM aviation. Replaced rear springs with airbags and compressor. The system works better than the OEM and my caddy ride is smooth. Replacing all 4 factory electronic dampers and a new factory ride air compressor would cost me nearly $1,000. I've spent less than $500 on a better system that uses lifetime warranty parts. Best 2003 Tahoe Z71 with 200,000

I have a 2003 Tahoe Z71 with 200,000 on the odometer. The truck's greatest mileage was "floating" when I was driving, driving me crazy. I've tried a couple of Monroe Reflex shocks and after a couple of weeks I felt the same floating sensation. I called a friend who has a parts store and he called KYB to explain my problem and ask what kind of shock it would solve. These gas-a-just shocks were recommended and I installed them after buying them online (half what the Pep Boys wanted!). The ride is

Firmly controlled handling without harshness

I chose these shocks to replace my OEM shocks on a 2005 Suburban Z71 that had 132,000 miles on the original shocks at the time (Bilsteins on the Z71 I think) one of which failed completely (front driver) and the two rear ones were weak. I wanted the shock to be stiffer and more manageable than the stock spring on the regular Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon (not Z71, not homologated), but not as hard to ride as the Z71 OEM shocks that came from the factory (I know I don't drag and I don't carry heavy…

Fixed wobble on my 2017 Tahoe 4x4

Background: Tahoe 4x4 with oversized tires (22). I had a weird vibration in the rear at high speeds when going over bumps or bad roads. A quick internet search will give you a long list of things to consider as the probable cause of this problem - of course I was disappointed as I didn't want to break the bank with costly and unnecessary repairs to fix the problem. Next step: First I tried different tires - the same size. Problem still exists. THEN I balanced the wheels elsewhere. Problem still
