Fairly easy to install on my 90 Ranger. They were slightly smaller in diameter than those they replaced. Although I'm not sure what that means. Keeping them compressed will make installation a lot easier! I tied the ends with twine so they were compressed to the length I needed to insert into the brackets. So far the journey seems much better than before. Glad you changed them.

The gas shocks are definitely the right fit for small 4WD trucks, they give the strong and smooth feel that four wheelers should have and kyb make them the best shocks out there. Good price for a great product that will restore stability to your suspension. Would recommend to anyone needing a shock replacement and looking to improve their ride and handling. Kyb Gas would be a good option.

Can't tell exactly how they compare to similar shocks but I was reasonably happy with the ride and support. On the back of my Ranger they seemed to put a bit more stress on the trailer tongues, which is basically what I was looking for (the replaced shocks rusted, of course). Unfortunately I had to sell the car shortly after the installation! I hope the guy who disassembled it got a few bucks for the shocks.
