Terrible Insulation for Shock Absorbers

These insulators failed me big time. For the price, I was expecting better performance. They did not absorb much of the shaking on my Automotive vehicle and the result was a very bumpy ride .The only good thing was that installation was relatively easy. I would not recommend this product to anyone..

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Did not absorb shock well

Subpar Isolation, Avoid!

As my tests showed, this insulator failed to provide any noticeable improvement in shock absorption or ride quality. The material feels cheap and flimsy, and installation was a real hassle..

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poor Quality, Difficult Installation

Be sure to align the isolator correctly before releasing the spring tension.

There is nothing better than this. Received on time and serviced until I had all the parts to replace the bracket, bearings, spring seats and dust boots for both sides of my 1999 Lexus RX300. After disassembling the struts, it took a few tries to get the spring compressor at the perfect angle to get everything together and tightened. The insulator in the box seemed old, with a bit of dry rot or excess powder hardened on the rubber.

Pros
  • Shocks, Struts & Suspension
Cons
  • Slightly cracked
