🧶 Lacis AW05 Knitting Needle Set Review

I'm new to Portuguese knitting so I didn't want to invest a lot in pins. These inexpensive needles are strong and don't pull on my clothes. I was concerned that different yarn counts would be a problem, but I've used them with everything from sock yarn to very bulky yarn and they've worked great. Now I switched to the Portuguese knitting method.

I recently attended a Portuguese knitting class and was offered a knitting needle. After researching on the internet I found these traditional 2 pack pins at a very good price. I like that they come in pairs as I forget them on blouses. They are well done. The fiber runs through them smoothly and without tangles. They are good quality metal and don't stain my blouse. I wish they were a bit sharper at that point. I've had a hard time getting through one or two types of tighter ropes. I've since…

The needles do the job well enough, but I'll probably buy a different brand when it comes time to replace them. The construction is very fragile and I bent the first one I tried to use immediately. It is still functional, but I would have liked the construction to be a little more stable and solid. Spicy. This is a very interesting and unusual way of knitting, but I find it helps me with sizing, and once you get the hang of it, it's a pretty fun and less tiring way to knit (and especially purl!).
