LACIS LV24 327 Crochet 11 5Mm Review

This crochet hook is exactly what I need for my projects .According to my experience it's sturdy and the perfect size for thick yarn. The grip is comfortable and allows me to crochet for hours without any hand fatigue. However, the hook could be smoother as the yarn sometimes gets caught on it..

As an avid arts and crafts enthusiast, I was extremely disappointed with this crochet hook. the metal was poorly finished causing friction and discomfort while working. The hook also frequently snagged on yarn, making for a frustrating and slow crochet process....

I understand that ebony is a dense wood, but the glossy finish on this one is so thick I couldn't see any trace of the texture, but the "feel" with a wooden hook just won't do it. I have no doubt it's ebony; when I put it in the water it immediately sank to the bottom. I don't know if I would buy it again - if I had another option in 11 .5mm in wood probably wouldn't. It has no "catchy" areas so for the most part it doesn't snag on yarn fibers (tricky yarn will be finicky).
