Non-standard quality.

Stabilizer/stand is as advertised but foam pads fell apart completely after 20 minutes (climbing stairs 12 times) should offer better value for money.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Doubtful

Easy to install and works well.

They simply slip into the holes at the bottom of the stairs and work perfectly. The ladder now protrudes over the gutters to prevent dents and appears more stable when standing over the siding while washing.

Pros
  • Easy to assemble
Cons
  • Problems

Works as described, good for ladders

Great for working with chutes without the ladder leaning against them. I installed gutter screens and these stabilizers made things a lot easier because the gutters didn't bend. A small problem is that the rubber pads wear out a bit after intensive use. I've used with 2 different ladders and had no trouble rolling them back. In short, very happy with them.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Simple design, the stairs feel much safer!

The "protective" foam arches were destroyed during a gutter cleaning because they rubbed against shingles during ladder assembly. I removed the foam type elbows and replaced them with sturdy 1" ID well tubing. Problem solved. That minor issue aside they are just what I needed, easy to turn on and off and very stable.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great for stability when clearing gutters

After receiving a $5,000 offer to install gutter guards, I purchased ladder brace brackets and cleaned my gutters easily and safely. In previous years I would lean the ladder against the gutters and always feel the ladder move along the gutters. The stabilizer mounts worked great, keeping the ladder off the gutters and holding it securely to the roof. I definitely recommend this product.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Crumpled

Very poorly made building materials

I have never used a stabilization system on an extendable ladder so I cannot rate this product on that basis but I can say it is VERY poorly made. After 20 minutes of use on fairly soft vinyl siding, the cushions broke. I'm half considering returning this item, but I'm too lazy to do so at the moment (it's a hassle to return items from my location). For the money you're paying for these two lightweight aluminum tubes, they shouldn't have a problem for years. Very few products I buy only last 20

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Dear Stranger, I would not trust this product with my life let alone mine. When I received this a few minutes ago, I was amazed. The build/design is the closest thing in appearance to a heavy wrought iron set that has been lost as sometimes happens in the workplace. Here the comparison ends. Aluminum? Maybe. Supports up to 300 pounds? Very doubtful. Empty? Yes. to send back? Instantly. These aren't the kind of droids or stairs you're looking for in a padawan. Keep searching; I still

Lower quality stabilizing foam.

I was very happy with this stair stabilizer but after 5 uses the foam on the elbows cracks and falls off. I have only used this stabilizer against regular house siding and brick. The foam rubber was ripped and torn, and now all you probably have to do is put electrical tape on your elbows and it's going to look bad. I'm not very happy with the complex purchase, but it's stable. Overall a good design but whoever chose the foam for this stabilizer needs to swap with the foam. I'm thinking of…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Unreliable

Good and bad

The concept is brilliant and the quality of the aluminum tubing is excellent but the foam headers broke as soon as they hit the asphalt tiles. To make matters worse, the 32-inch aluminum tubing was too large to fit the D-rungs of my Werner ladder. Since the illustration of the three rung types was not published when I bought the racks six months ago, I contacted the manufacturer who tried to sell me a more expensive version that was compatible with my ladder; but I refused, and with great…
