Insufficient ankle support

These skates use very thin material. No ankle support. My son has trouble with this. Save money and buy better ones, including used ones.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • New competitors

very good product for kids ice skates

it was very good i skate for my 8 year old son who was afraid to go on the ice but i bought him cool skates and it wouldn't be different

Pros
  • ideal for a small house
Cons
  • not as thick as others

They are better than rented ones

We had to sharpen them when we got them. They are more convenient and safer than renting, in my opinion. My son kept falling into the lease. When he put them on, he finally couldn't get off the ice.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Good but not great

Boy's Figure Skating LP200

Good basic skates for kids who are sprouting like weeds or lack concentration. The top is plastic but quite soft and comfortable. A much better option than renting, they pay for themselves in just a few uses.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Incorrect information was provided for this product

The product was very bad. My son used it once last week. I didn't like the material at all. He bandaged my son's leg. Because of this, you need to buy a new one. I am all being asked not to take this product.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Obsolete model

He loved the skates

We used the smaller size and when my boy outgrew him we went for the larger size. He liked skates. The first job lasted 2 years. For the price, it performs like a workhorse. For new buyers, this part has no padding. So we add an extra layer or socks or use soft ones.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • No instructions

good looks but not very good quality

Bought for my son for his basic group classes. They are good quality, the padding and construction of the skates is good and my son loves having his own skates! - Updated after a few months of use, one shoe has a large tear (about 2-3 inches) just above the outside of the heel.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Reliability

Great price for entry level skateboards

Good skateboards for beginners. Not much padding around the ankle but the long slightly thick socks made the difference. My son never complained about the comfort and after several intensive uses he didn't have a single blister. After my son's recommended first professional sharpening, my son's blades are working fantastic.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Zero

great beginner skates!

These are great skates for beginners. You can't beat the price! For cosmetic reasons I wish they had black laces but this is a feminine take on a boys product - our son loves them for what they are. They're pretty durable and good looking and are said to be pretty comfortable. We ordered a size up from the usual street size and they fit perfectly. Although I didn't mention it anywhere when purchasing, make sure you have a rink to sharpen the blades before letting your child on the ice, they…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Compatibility
