Threaded Phenolic Socket Lamp with Turn Knob Review

I broke the connection to the lamp after my barn lamp fell out of clay. It was a sturdy metal lamp that broke at the base. So, as you know, I can't dry. I was looking for a replacement for the metal which was dark but there was nothing so I bought this black plastic. It came together quickly. I put the old pen back in. Very happy with how it looks.

My wife is an IKEA walnut. One of the lamps she always owned broke in the socket. I looked for this socket and found it and was able to mount it together with the screw ring from the original and attach the lampshade. The lampshade had a very large opening and had to be attached to the original socket at the bottom. Small tweaks and in fact it's BETTER than the original which for some reason was constantly hanging around.

I had a vintage light bulb that needed rewiring and this phenolic socket was easy to install and helped accommodate more types of replacement shades. Rather than struggling to find a lampshade I liked for that particular lamp that could accommodate an existing harp, this type of lampshade adapter gave me a lot more options. I had no idea how many options there were but this was the perfect solution for me. I definitely recommend it.

My sister gave me a lovely floor lamp the other day. I accidentally knocked it over and it crashed into the wall, breaking the top. It was so sad if i could fix this socket was so different i saw this one on revain and to my surprise i tried it with little effort it really worked and was very close to what the other one looked like and now I have my beautiful lamp again, this version works really well 👍 can't really say anything, it was very cheap

I had a flashlight with a broken socket and cable. Whether this socket is suitable as a replacement is difficult to assess based on the pictures and descriptions. So I took a chance and luckily it was a perfect fit. I need a threaded base to screw into the stem of a table lamp and luckily the threads were the same. thought this socket would work to replace the broken socket in the desk lamp we have. The existing socket looked exactly like this one, so it was a direct replacement. Unfortunately, whoever assembled the original lamp base overtightened the set screw and deformed some of the threads. I removed the old bushing and started screwing on the new one.
