It costs money!

I started painting by numbers and the cells are very small. I am 67 years old and my vision is not good for these tiny cells. This lamp has made my painting much more enjoyable. I feel like this is the best money I've spent in a long time! Highly recommended for crafters, artists etc.

Great tool: lamps and lampshades

The light is nice and bright, good glass, good magnification. I use it to create models. As you know, the parts can be tiny, tiny, so a magnifying glass is a great tool. This one does the trick and I love it so far. I also like the fact that it can be placed on a table or on a pedestal.

A gift for my husband who can fix everything around the house.

I gave it to my husband because he always works in the workshop and his eyesight is not what it used to be. He totally loves it! He didn't know that something could be so bright and useful. It was well packaged and even arrived early. We are very happy with this product!

Really good hobby lamp, I recommend!

I build miniature models and the details are small. The magnification and bright LED lighting are perfect, and the lens is big enough to work with easily. The weighted base works great and is easy to adjust, allowing me to get closer to the model. This is a great lamp and a good price. The built-in control switch is intuitive. The cable could have been longer, but it works well with a USB extension cable.

Excellent lamp especially for close ups

Excellent lamp. The magnifying glass is great. I really like the 3 lighting modes. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to use a base or a clamp. The base wants to tilt a little. (Maybe I didn't set it up correctly - I'm still experimenting). I mounted both the base and clip on the table I will be using this lamp on. I am very satisfied with the lamp, I recommend it.

There is nothing to complain about here. It even comes with a silicon-impregnated polishing cloth. The 9W LED backlight is pleasant and energy efficient. 3 colors (whites) selectable via the controller switch, plus multiple dimmer levels. The base is well weighted. And the packaging is great. The magnifying glass is also made of real glass. I am very happy with this purchase.

Terrible design, limited functionality, overpriced

I don't like writing bad reviews, it's just that this thing is useless. The base used to mount it to a table or workbench is poorly constructed. The upper part of the collar is beveled. A small section is along the outside edge and the thickest section is near the back of the clip. This results in the entire clamp not being flush with the top of your table/bench, but tipping away from the table/bench it is attached to. 1/4" to hold on to the bottom of the table/bench. Terrible design, limited functionality, overpriced

I don't like to write bad ones reviews it's just the thing is useless .. the top part of the clamp is narrowed the small part is on the outer edge and the thickest part is near the back of the clip this causes the entire clamp does not sit flush with the top of your table/bench but sits at an angle away from the table/workbench to which it is attached. 2 ) The bottom screw used above secures the clamp to the table/workbench, only has about 3/4" to hold onto the underside of the table/workbench.
