Great when it works

Broke after 2 days of use, I'm a trailer mechanic so I use this or one of my other Lang brake tools, the rest, 5/16 and 7/16 work fine. The pawl is broken, let's see if I can fix it. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Works great. It's a good idea to cover the head to prevent grease caked dirt from getting into the ratchet, but to be honest I wish the vinyl wrap would completely cover everything but the bushing itself so you could easily wash parts of it, without cleaning cracks, and the handle could not possibly slip off.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

For $32 I could buy a long-awaited Sears 9/16 and be happy. Reverse

I run a fleet of 12 drill rigs. Mine lasted about 2 weeks. The ratchet teeth are slipping and are likely broken. It's one thing if I twist a stuck knob hard or something, but that was just normal use. Kind of disappointed. For $32 I could buy a long-awaited Sears 9/16 and be happy. Reverse I also have the 7/16 version as well as the 3/8 square drive models and they have worked great. Maybe I'm just stupid.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
