The hard surface is something like a thin chipboard with a wood grain that is very prone to oily fingerprints. The pillow below has a nice design (grey diamonds) but it's filled with tiny noisy styrofoam beads that aren't very comfortable. random slot top right, especially since the laptop hides most/all of the phone from view for most people using it for a laptop.
