LASCO 37 1880P Replacement Cartridge: Optimal 20 Micron Filtration Review

I wanted a filter that can be cleaned many times like Lasco 37-1888P but instead I got Lasco 37-1882P. Not exactly what I wanted. There seems to be some issues with the Lasco order. Not installed yet to test usage.

My well water is quite dirty and contains a lot of iron. I've found this filter to work great as a pre-filter for a 20 micron outlet filter. I usually take this filter out after a few weeks and wash it with a nylon brush. For now I will be reusing it about 3 times before switching to a new one.

I have very dirty well water. For two years I tried every filter I could find and they all had to be replaced about every 2 weeks. After reading other reviews I thought this might help anyone thinking about how to use this filter. I've been using one of these filters for about 22 months now and have probably flushed it about 15 times. Our well water is very dirty so I have a four stage setup where this filter is the first stage, then a 20 micron, then a 5 micron, then a 5 micron carbon filter.
