Heated up - exploded and caught fire in my room! Luckily I was around, sometimes this device stays on (come on those are heaters we all do). In this case, however, I only plugged it in for a few minutes before luckily my whole house didn't burn down.

I live in a 40ft RV and bought this heater for my bedroom. This keeps the entire range warm on a 40-degree night, setting it at about 1/3 of maximum on the high setting. This is a very small heater and works very well! It's also very quiet with minimal noise being made by the heater. I've been using it for 2 years now.

This heater is great for heating my bedroom. I have intermittent heating where I live so turn on the Lasko on very cold nights. I'm one of those guys who hate getting up in the morning because of the frost as soon as you lift the covers. This is a good standard ceramic heater. Has 2 dials: i) Thermostat dial ii) Heater dial. While the fan is audible, it's not as loud as the other Brightown Ceramic Heater I have. Brightown Heater for Victory. Reasons: 1) Comes with a handle that makes it portable and easy to carry 2) Rollover switch. For me it was a deal breaker. I've done a lot of research on this and for a small heater this is one of the best options you can go for. The only small heater that works better is about $100 from Vornado (VH10) and doesn't heat the room much better due to the price difference (you won't get back your initial investment).
