Works well.: Tools and equipment

Better than the old models that were 3 inches from the OBD2 connector. It has a very low profile. I only notice it because of the light when it's on. I use the Torque app (paid version) and can connect to it automatically when I open the app.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

No connection to vehicle control unit

No connection to vehicle. The lights will illuminate to indicate power is connected, but will not connect to the control box (this is indicated by an on-screen notification). I replaced it with Revain but the new one started connecting and then stopped connecting. I do not recommend. Tried on multiple machines with no success.

Pros
  • Robust surface
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Good machine

I keep one of these in every obd2 car I have so my phone can diagnose any problem that arises. A simple app for Android or iPhone turns your phone into a code scanner and cleaner. Also, you can use your phone as a dashboard or find all the information your car is giving out. A very handy device.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Upgradable

Misleading wording on analyzer

Why does the analyzer say it supports ALL obdII protocols when in fact it only supports 3 out of 5? Protocol, but who knew what that meant? Definitely see what that means before you buy this junk. In fact, most others available at the same price support ALL protocols.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • No instructions

Just doesn't work in Tools & Equipment

You can buy one that looks identical cheaper elsewhere such as . B. on ebay or even another Amazon catalogue. This one just won't connect to bluetooth via the torque app, is returned and replaced with a new one, but the same. I have another one that looks the same off ebay and it works great. Many different manufacturers of the same product. I highly recommend buying it elsewhere as it is incredible value for money when it works.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Requires socket
