Chalk pencil is great for kids. It was washed right out of my daughter's messy blonde hair! The colors are rich and vibrant. Although after about 12 hours in the hair they definitely faded but did not disappear. Even in my son's hair (photos attached) the color was vibrant even in his darker hair. Not recommended for adults or children. I'm an adult and bored and decided to dye my hair as I was stuck indoors anyway. The application was not easy. Looked weird for about a day then took 2 weeks and 12 shampoos to remove. My hair was waxy and coarse and it scared me because I was losing my hair after every wash.

I was so excited to receive this item. I think my kids would love it too, especially in October and Halloween. However, I read all the reviews so I felt I made the right choice. When it arrived the product had been previously opened. each small comb needs to be packed individually. Some of mine have been opened and obviously used. One still had real hair in it! Absolute rubbish, gladly again. Very disappointed!

This hair color chalk was surprisingly easy to use and worked better than I expected on my dark brown hair. I parted my hair into sections, spritzed some water on each section, and applied color. It was fun and easy to do. I was able to style my hair as usual. While it wasn't as bright as it might look with blonde or blond hair, it was definitely visible in the light, almost shimmering. I bought a LAWOHO temporary hair coloring chalk comb for my kids to show team spirit at school encouragement events. Since it is a non-toxic hair chalk, it can be washed out without coloring the hair. This hair chalk had a terrible effect on my daughter's hair. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with her curly hair but as soon as I did the first strand I felt her hair getting rough like her hair hadn't been washed in days/weeks. I ended up regretting not stopping after the first strand. When I finished, I couldn't even comb her hair.
