Amazing back support which is why you should buy this model. I just did a 2 day kayak trip and this article definitely saved my back. Now for the bad. The seat has almost no padding, and my butt got sore and numb quite often, and it's just annoying. If they worked on this thing and actually got a nice padded seat with great back support that would be an easy 5 star rating.

Love this accessory to use the SUP as a kayak. I wear a PDF when paddling that hard to appreciate the comfort, but it gives me the support I need to paddle comfortably. It snaps into place in seconds, the straps adjust quickly, and it's ready to go. I also bought a 4 piece paddle that converts from a kayak paddle to a SUP paddle and I find it essential to have. If I decide to get up and paddle, I can easily do so without removing the kayak seat.

So it's really easy to sit and very comfortable. Went swimming with him for two days and the first day was perfect. The seat is nice and adjustable and it was really comfortable. The next day I rowed and it looked like the board was bent in the seat or something and there was an awkward mark on the back. Bought a seat for my Pelican Enforcer 120X. This kayak does NOT have four grommets, only four front seats. I ended up installing two rear grommets for this seat, but due to the contour of the kayak and where the grommets had to go for the seat to be reasonably stable, it covered the rod holder slightly. So far so good. I installed it on a Sundolphin Bali SS 12ft that had a very low back. I didn't have to add new grommets. I removed the two screws holding the old seat in place and had to drill two holes in the new one. Screwing two propellers into the boat alone was not easy, but it is doable. You will need washers for the fenders as this seat is not designed to be bolted on. I had to cut through the OEM seat belts to access the D-rings. Nice addition to an inflatable SUP. I alternate between sitting and standing, so this fits. It's easy to install, just adjust the length of the strap and attach it to the D-rings on the board. The back is quite flexible though, so you only really get support at the top where the straps attach. The whole lower part just folds back as you can see in the photo.
