I wanted to be able to use this stylish collar on my dog rather than always relying on gentle guidance. Works well and is well made. The colors are strong, which I like. My dogs fight and have dirty collars, but this one doesn't seem to pick up as much dirt. would recommend.

I always wear martingale collars for my dogs simply because they can't slip out no matter the situation and with what dog. This collar is perfect for my muscular pit bull! It passed the durability test, love its stylish look and reflective yarn! We highly recommend this brand! 👌🏻

My dog can remove the collar. Our trainer recommended the Martingale collar, you can't slip over it! Peace of mind so we can both enjoy our walks. Not recommended for permanent wear. It has an extra loop that is easy to get caught and choke on without supervision. Works like a cloth version of a training collar with choke chain. Seems softer and more comfortable than a necklace. We keep him on a leash and only use him to go for a walk.

Our 30lb Blue Healer has been wearing it since we got it in May and so far so good! The red is still very bright and looks great against her coat. We haven't had any issues with tears or scuffs so hopefully it stays that way! I liked the collar so much that I immediately bought the matching leash and didn't pull on the harness as after squirrels and birds (that's right) it gets slightly psychotic. She looks like a fancy little thing with all her stuff. I love this company and their products!

Update: The company contacted me and offered to replace the item. When I stopped by (she's now trying to destroy her other martingale in the same way, thank goodness) they returned the order. Although the product was not suitable, their service was excellent. I have a dog that likes to chew, the martingale loop is too long and he can reach his jaw so he chewed the collar in a few days.
