🐾 0.8-inch Wide Leather Latigo Round Pet Collar - Size 18-inch Depth Review

I bought this for my dog who has had problems with cloth collars, they seemed to irritate him and when he itched his neck he ripped them. I have had this collar for over a year now and it is still in excellent condition. It looks great, lasts and my dog looks so cute.

Bought for our 2 year old Labradoodle. His hair gets tangled easily, especially around the collar and pendants. As recommended, we tried this rolled leather collar and saw improvements with the matte finish. In addition, the collar is well made and strong, has a nice color and is true to size.

Pros: - Excellent quality - The rolled leather is beautifully finished - Nice and smooth with good stitching - US leather, not sure if it's in the USA Assembled No (?) Cons - Actual size (usable) is around 16-17.5. So if your dog has an 18" neck be sure to order a 20" collar - D-ring smaller than it should be, I would prefer if they use a larger D-ring to accommodate leash attachment to facilitate. Overall a super quality collar for what I paid.

Based on some other collar reviews I was concerned that this 18 inch might not fit. The collar should match the size of the dog's neck. Let's say your dog has a 16 inch neck, then you will get a size of 14-18 inch. But online they only say 16 inches or 18 inches. Sometimes the seller will just measure the entire length of the collar instead of trying it on (wish they got it right). HOWEVER, this collar fits perfectly.
