I bought this on June 17th n patching a hole in my couch that my dog has been gnawing on n he has been like this the whole time (7/15) almost the whole month and no side sticks out. This is the perfect patch on the site so I highly recommend buying this one. You can't say I fixed it!

Not good for small patches You must cover the entire seat, otherwise it will come off due to the heat inside the car and the friction of getting in and out. Edited on 10/13/21. My 20 year old Italian leather sofa has been through two kids and a couple of cats, it started fraying and fraying at the bottom because of pet and cat nails rubbing it Patch worked like charm. I bought a 6" x 17" roll and made 3 bottom pieces of my sofa, the sofas are fine as are the 2 seats so I haven't used them. It fits perfectly and is soft.
