The item is very cool, it could be worse.

As previous commentators wrote, the first step is to throw the rubber out of the mount and replace it with real rubber - after that it is attached to the steering wheel perfectly. Inside there are two 18650 cells without any marking, but for some reason surprisingly small capacity - less than 2022 mAh in total. By the way, it is easy to disassemble - it is assembled on 6 bolts. So those who know how to use a soldering iron can easily resolder the batteries into more decent ones and make a jar…

Pros
  • Shines well. If you sensibly hang it on the steering wheel, then this is a convenient stand for the phone. For my phone, you can even use the fingerprint sensor and even plug in the charger (I used it to charge from ANOTHER powerbank). A reasonable space saver if you still want to use your phone as a card.
Cons
  • There is no white flashing mode (there is a red flashing mode). As a powerbank is generally useless. The capacity of my copy is obviously less than 2022mAh (when charging from scratch, it consumed less electricity; and even when I tried to charge it, the phone sat down almost immediately). What a useless horn. Firstly, the sound is more like an alarm than a horn - drivers do not perceive this as a reason to pay attention. Secondly, connecting the horn requires depressurizing the headlight sockets, that is, you should not use it in the rain (namely, it is there that it is most important). Thirdly, when driving with the horn wire connected, the socket is stressed and it breaks - i. E. the ability to charge the headlight at all suffers from trying to use the horn! Mounting on the steering wheel without refinement is useless.

Pros below: In general, it shines normally, the phone holds well, if desired, the phone becomes a DVR. Got cons: The charge holds much less than stated. If you spend from the series an hour in the morning, an hour in the evening, it can and will last 5 days. And if the whole dark evening, then that's it.

My impression of the purchase is good, buy it.

For those who are going to buy - pay attention to some nuances, many of which are easily eliminated with straight hands))) 1. It is advisable to shorten the mounting screws by 1-1.5 cm - there is no point in such long studs if you often remove the lantern. 2. The gasket in the mount is thin - after tightening the fastener, the flashlight can turn on the steering wheel on a bump and with the risk of the phone slipping out. Exit - put any elastic pad 1-2 mm thick on both sides to be able to…

Pros
  • 1. A full-fledged flashlight, can be used separately. Remove the fastening latch - and you have a tourist lantern) 2. The phone clamp is strong enough. For city rides or dirt road trips without obvious potholes - that's it. 3. Minus point - for the "call". This is really terrible stuff.
Cons
  • At this price, no. And you can always complain. Although now I have discovered one drawback. Do not try to use the "call" (which is connected via micro-USB)! You run the risk of going under the article of the Criminal Code for manslaughter of someone from a broken heart. Or try it far in the field for the first time and immediately throw it away after the purchase suits you in general. The sound is unusual - no one will understand that this is a bicycle bell, and not a scarecrow of passers-by. If you use a phone, it's better to install some kind of call application on it, more humane and less frightening.
