Review on Bike and Scooter LED Front Headlight with Adamar Flashlight, Steering Wheel Phone Holder, and Horn - Black by Agata Dmochowska ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The item is very cool, it could be worse.

As previous commentators wrote, the first step is to throw the rubber out of the mount and replace it with real rubber - after that it is attached to the steering wheel perfectly. Inside there are two 18650 cells without any marking, but for some reason surprisingly small capacity - less than 2022 mAh in total. By the way, it is easy to disassemble - it is assembled on 6 bolts. So those who know how to use a soldering iron can easily resolder the batteries into more decent ones and make a jar of a more reasonable size. Modes: three brightness modes, one red flashing. The maximum bright mode is not super bright, but sufficient for a quiet ride at night through the forest. The lantern has two cones of light - a narrow, brighter one and a wider, dim one.

Pros
  • Shines well. If you sensibly hang it on the steering wheel, then this is a convenient stand for the phone. For my phone, you can even use the fingerprint sensor and even plug in the charger (I used it to charge from ANOTHER powerbank). A reasonable space saver if you still want to use your phone as a card.
Cons
  • There is no white flashing mode (there is a red flashing mode). As a powerbank is generally useless. The capacity of my copy is obviously less than 2022mAh (when charging from scratch, it consumed less electricity; and even when I tried to charge it, the phone sat down almost immediately). What a useless horn. Firstly, the sound is more like an alarm than a horn - drivers do not perceive this as a reason to pay attention. Secondly, connecting the horn requires depressurizing the headlight sockets, that is, you should not use it in the rain (namely, it is there that it is most important). Thirdly, when driving with the horn wire connected, the socket is stressed and it breaks - i. E. the ability to charge the headlight at all suffers from trying to use the horn! Mounting on the steering wheel without refinement is useless.
