One riser per pack best for fish and aquatic animals

To be clear there is only one riser in the pack. Bought 2 to update my wicked old ones when I restarted my tank after a hiatus. Went well in gravel tubs and works as advertised.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

This is useful in aquarium pumps and filters

Basically what I need to replace some missing risers and nozzles. (I really only needed the bottom part and the retaining ring.) I didn't get five stars because I felt the price was a bit high for what I got. This is just a set of what you see.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Appearance

Poor design on filter mount

Gravel pack design is very mediocre. The filter leaves a gap for easy water flow, bypassing the filter. I broke a few heads where the filter is attached as the filter is difficult to insert and the mesh breaks.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Does not fit all

how i will be the two up.

This elbow and riser assembly is suitable for Lee in-ground filters. My guess because I thought there were two in the package not one. I think most people, like me, will assume that most traditional gravel packs come with two filters in the pack. I think it's worth highlighting on the shop window the fact that the packaging only contains an airlift hose and elbow. Otherwise there are no complaints.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Available in White Only

Doesn't fit properly on my 2 year old Lee's Undergravel Filter

My old risers are cloudy and the tops are blackened with algae and cracked from changing the carbon filter cartridges over time. Given the price, I figured I'd just replace them instead of hard cleaning. Unfortunately, the new risers will not fit Lee filter plates under gravel. Now the risers are in two pieces and I can take the second piece and fit it, but then the risers are only about 7 inches long for a 60 gallon tank. Unsuitable for use. When I tried to install the second part it turned…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
