I bought this ball for my Syrian Hamster Hamilton. My Hammy's ball bounced and was too small for him. I know I have a fairly large hamster so I bought him a giant size. With Prime this ball was delivered in 2 days. When it arrived it was huge. But not too big. I think it's for rats, ferrets and guinea pigs. Anyway, I put my hummy in the ball and he liked it. This ball is the perfect size for a stuffed hamster. Five and seven inch balls are too small and will arch the hamster's back, which is not good for him at all.
