Description of 🧱 Unleash Your Creativity with LEGO Baseplate: The Ultimate Open-Ended Imaginative Tool

This 32x32-stud white baseplate provides LEGO builders with a world of possibilities for creative construction as an inspiring landscape for imaginative play and a sturdy platform for model display. Never before has a white LEGO baseplate as large as this been available; measuring over 10'' (25cm) square, this bright white building toy gives kids a spacious 32x32-stud LEGO landscape on which to build, play and display. Sturdy, durable and featuring 1,024 perfectly aligned studs, the baseplate is made to grip bricks at any angle (even upside down! ) yet be removed with ease; it even grips firmly enough for model transport and display. This white baseplate makes an exciting addition to any LEGO builder's collection and is a great gift for anyone over the age of 4. Measuring over 10'' (25cm) square, the LEGO baseplate is big enough for building projects and impressive displays (minifigure lineup, anyone?), and compatible with all LEGO building sets.

Mainly paint for building toys

We bought this mainly for the paint. I don't know why the other colors are $5 and this one is $8? The quality is the same as other colors but one thing is that when sorting your parts you can see the colors as is unless your parts are white lol. On the other hand, it is less eye-friendly than other base plates.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Great base for Christmas scenes!

These coasters are great for displaying your Lego creations! I bought 16 of these to mount on plywood which I painted white to place our Lego Christmas Village on. That's great. They go great with all of our bricks because they're made by Lego, but they give you such a great surface to work with. I am very happy with this purchase!

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Quality not as expected

At first I thought it was fake because the "base plate" we took from the Lego classic 11717 is much stronger with structural ribs on the bottom and is thicker to match the rest of Lego. After some research this appears to be the official Lego baseplate, perhaps this design was created with cost in mind. or maybe it just needs to be more flexible so it can be bent to remove all the top pieces? Anyway, I was hoping for a more solid foundation.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

It is excellent. on construction toys

This was mailed in an envelope and placed in our mailbox; so he was bent. It seems to have leveled off after putting some heavy books on it, but it's just poorly packaged and could have permanently damaged the item. Also, my daughters legos hold up pretty well to what I was looking for (except for the color). All of these things are way overpriced for what they are and it was $7 which was the most I was willing to pay. So, it works fine, but I'm not particularly impressed.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • 0

Some people don't know what Lego baseplate is

This is the exact same 32 x 32 baseplate I ever had, just like it was 20 years ago. In fact, plastic can be even stronger since it's fresh from the factory. If you've never bought a Lego baseplate in your life, remember this: A) It's super flat and super thin. That's because it's meant to be used on a table (or the floor if you're ready to step on Lego). It doesn't have to be sturdy enough to support itself. B) You cannot attach Legos to the bottom. Again, so it can sit as flat and thin as…

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • Doubt it
