Installs it at home with a 50A switch and a thick cable to connect the charger that came with the Tesla Model 3. Allows long-distance battery charging overnight.

I wasn't expecting too much for $10 but I was expecting wire screws to have some sort of clamp or rod to hold the wires instead of just a screw that cuts into the wire. tearing it apart as it spins. Also, as mentioned, it doesn't look like a Revain photo, it's not chained, it's junk!

Very good quality with appropriately sized screw terminals. The backplate is much thicker than others I've seen, but that can make the jagged corner tabs difficult to pull off. Mine is different than the one shown in this listing. I attached the back plate to the back with three screws in the plastic, not riveted front to back as shown in the picture.

I needed a 6-50 socket for an EVSE plug-in. I ordered these as well as Leviton and Eaton 6-50 outlets to see which would work best for my setup. I need an outlet that is installed bottom up when the EVSE is plugged in from the top. Additionally, the #8 line comes in a 2-speed, bottom-mount 4x4 surface mount box.
