I liked the stand's design and with a few tweaks to the clip I was able to install it easily. I liked the device until it broke in half at the location of the set screw. I am going to send it back and ask for another one hoping it was just a defective unit.

I am not at all satisfied with this footrest. It's flimsy and won't stay on my bike. You have to keep readjusting and tightening as it keeps dangling. I'm seriously considering ordering another one, better quality.

The block itself appears to be quite solid but the hinge/spring mechanism feels very rough. Metal rubs against metal every time I open and close it. I will not install it. Looking for something with better build quality that will last and run smoothly.

Installation was easy except finding the right spot on the frame that doesn't interfere with pedaling but is still centered enough to keep the bike upright . Please note that you have to tighten it very well or it will slip off (at least for me). It's not very strong when you park your bike on a slope or hill. Not sure if this stand will last, but for the low price it was worth a try. Will update later for durability.

I won't know for sure until the weather gets better, but at first glance it looks like this footrest will fold easily if the bike moves a little forward becomes. This was noted in several other reviews I've read. I see the bike fall very easily. The stand should protrude forward to counteract this, but instead leans back slightly so it doesn't take long. Too bad because it looks great and feels very solid.

At first my husband was concerned that he wouldn't be able to use this part, we never buy any components for a bike, this side stand is the first component we buy bought him and he loves it very much, his bike has one but it doesn't work, this one works really well, it's sturdy and supports this bike well, by the way, his bike is 26 inch, simple and regular size, works great with him. .. now he will buy an extra mirror and seat, better than buying a new bike.

I bought two of these, they've been on my bike for about a month and they still work perfectly. When standing, any forward movement will cause the bike to fall. I hope there is a way to make the connection tighter. it is very good and easy to install, i would give it five stars if it could be adjusted to seal the joint or if it had something to hold it better. I installed them on a Batch 707 MTB 29 inch.

Installation is easy. That's about what works. The 26-29" version is a bit too big for my 27.5" wheel. It will flex, but a gust of wind will knock it over. Unfortunately, the product is unusable. The stand does not lock forward, so the weight of the bike reinforces the lock. It opens maybe 85 degrees, which allows the weight of the bike to close the stand completely.
