Leisure Coachworks Sealant Weatherproof Roofing Review

We used this tape to seal a leak around a skylight. This tape, applied under less than ideal conditions (relatively low temperature and humidity), taped and sealed the leak. We've tried sealant before, which didn't work. I don't know how easy it comes off again. It is designed to stay in place.

It didn't help at all. First, the backing was almost impossible to remove and once you took it off the tape was a mess. We were able to attach it to our RV and after a week it literally fell off. I would definitely not recommend. It was a waste of our time and money. Very dissatisfied.

I used this to repair a hole in a pop up trailer roof. I think I was lucky that I peeled the clear tape off the self-adhesive backing of the piece I was using because when I tried again with a different piece I WAS NOT able to peel it off. I put it in the fridge for a while as instructed, I still couldn't grab a corner to peel it off.

This product looked promising until I opened the box. I noticed holes on the back of the tape even before I started applying the product. When I then opened the package and wanted to take it back and seal it with tape, it was very difficult for me. The tape doesn't come off the glue and the whole roll is useless, I don't recommend it.

I am very happy with this purchase. I only use it for a canopy which doesn't really leak but I wanted to seal the area between the gutters and the roof, this was perfect for about half the cost of the others. I would recommend it. The neighbor came and told me if you have a heat gun that works well too. You heat it up a bit and then use a roller to really get the adhesion going. I ordered a product and was surprised to find an unusual situation. Since I ordered two things, one came in its original form, the packaging is perfect, whole and without external damage. However, the second package arrived in the same container, but it showed signs of pressure on the side of the package, the walls of the roll were flattened on two opposite sides and the package was damaged, suggesting someone had put a blade through the middle the role.
