I used 2 of these magnets to fix a broken glove box in my car. The magnets are very strong. So strong that I ripped off part of my cunt. Oops. Some tape on the magnet helped loosen the force to get it right. My only issue with the product was that 1 screw was completely snapped off. There was no suitable size on hand, I had to buy it.

I bought this to keep the outside gate closed. I used a router (actually a Dremel tool with a router support) to insert each side into wooden "stops" that face each other when the gate is closed. It just works. Even with this fairly complex installation, the total installation time was only about 1/2 hour. If you don't need to paste, the time is about 5 minutes. I will update this review with the results after the storm.

When we installed the large cabinet doors in the pantry, we noticed that one of the doors was slightly warped. When closed there was a small gap in the bottom corner where it didn't meet the closet box. We used one of these magnets. The magnet attracts the door so the door is flush when closed. This magnet is very strong so we put some pieces of tape on the inside so it doesn't stick so tight when we try to open it. I built a barn door at the top of my deck steps so our dog wouldn't run away when we were on deck with her. It is held closed with a magnet.
