The only reason I give this light 2 stars is because it has good light output. Would really really give this 5 or even 6 stars! Mainly because I need about 30 more to replace all our lightbulbs (Lemonbest knows this). But I can not. I replaced old 1978 square downlights during a basement renovation. They had 60w compact fluorescent bulbs which gave off enough light after warming up but I was looking for something brighter. They are much brighter and cover a larger area. This way, instead of multiple concentrated areas of light under each fixture, I get a nice, even light that illuminates the entire area. I've only had the most difficult/annoying experience.1. The clips for these things are terrible. I lost 2 of them flying into my attic while trying to fit a lamp into an existing fixture and one of them slipped and hit me in the face! I bought this to replace my 8 inch square recessed lights which are found all over my house and give terrible lighting. I bought one of these to see how well it works. I installed it by screwing the adapter into the socket and then connecting the plug to the two wires of this lamp. This made installation easier.
