Cut nice and clean holes. It took about 45 minutes of work. Then all the teeth fell off / were worn down. I would rate this as a buy. In all, he went through about 2.5 inches of extremely hard stucco, 5 inches of stucco, and 36 inches of fairly soft brick.

I had to drill a 2 1/4" hole in the back of the steel hot side spiral for the turbo, I have a 2 1/8 carbide hole saw from Lenox used and machined with a boring bar in my mill. It worked fantastic, faster and cheaper than a big mill and cut through steel with ease. Very pleased!

This drill bit was used to cut holes in refractory brick (heavy, 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 9"). Depth of cut is only 1 3/8" ". It doesn't come with a shank. I cut the brick to the center point on both sides by dipping it in water. They did a great job, quick and clean. The only problem we had was making sure the holes lined up perfectly. I assume it will cut metal well too.
