Right Extension

Works perfectly with the mandrel from the Dewalt Electrician's Hole Saw Kit. Has two set screws. Exactly what I needed.

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Exactly what I was looking for

Just a friendly reminder. When drilling a hole with a hole saw, make sure the drill bit is supported because if you don't, it can grab the drill bit and then twist to hit your arm and then push it against the stud. At the same time, this movement forces you to press a button on the drill to lock it in place so it keeps working. This will be quite painful and will bend this extension.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of style

Socket head screws are used to hold the bit. The chuck diameter is .935", so with some tolerance on the screw heads it can only drive 1". Drill bit (but tight) .A 7/16" hex shaft must match other extensions, or a drill press with a 1/2" or larger chuck is required. This is where I ran into problems. A set of unnamed…

Pros
  • delivery was very quick
Cons
  • crumpled
