I always had trouble with metal snips until I used these. I guess my problem wasn't the scissors, it was the crappy scissors! These are very strong and precise blades made from very thick material! If I could give six stars I would :)

Well built product. Works well. The handles are comfortable. Cuts well - stainless steel, plastic, pewter - because the right dimensions :) Also for its size it surprisingly allows a fairly precise control of the cut and especially the curves - although it does leave some protrusions on the jagged edge - some cleaning is needed. scissors are worth 6 out of 5 stars. My reason for the 3 star rating is the price. I bought them and then opened a Menards ad and saw that they were selling for about $13 a pair. Lenox makes the best scissors I have ever owned. I've had a pair for about 4 years and they are still hotter than the Malco or Irwin brands. You can tighten the nuts if they start to loosen. but rarely needed. I have used them a lot. in ventilation and air conditioning technology. 26-30 sheet metal is not suitable. I bought these Lenox scissors to replace worn straight scissors. Completely satisfied with this Lenox model. It easily cuts aluminium, steel, plastic and paper. It's impressive that it cuts paper cleanly. This model was mentioned by Vancouver Carpenter in some YT videos.
