Arrived with cutting end outside track

I just had to drill a 1 1/4 inch diameter hole in the rim of my new plastic sink so I could install a 1 hole faucet. I bought this Lenox bitten with a mandrel and fixed in his drill. The center and bottom of the saw were round - not "jumping" during rotation. Unfortunately, the serrated end of the saw is "cracked" a bit, maybe 1/16th of an inch - it looks like this end isn't quite round, but rather slightly elliptical. Major design flaw in drill parts and accessories

At this time I cannot recommend Lenox hole saws for cutting anything other than softwood. You have a large defect in the weld (the weld is thinner than the rest of the hole saw) cutting the seam from the teeth to the bit body. I noticed that the weld was shearing off where the teeth were. after making a cut in thick sheet metal and then looking at another lenox bit i had and noticed it cut in the same place too. If they made the weld the same thickness as the metal around it, this problem would

Fast cutting, great hole saw

I bought this to cut a 1 1/4 inch diameter hole in a stainless steel sink for a garbage disposal button and it worked perfectly. hole and did it surprisingly quickly. My ONLY complaint, and not even a complaint but more of an observation, would be that after 4 uses the color has just completely faded to the depth I cut. I'm totally fine with paint it's gone all the markings/sizes are engraved anyway but why even paint it is supposed to make the manufacturing process more expensive then…
