This jug makes me happy when I use it! I keep lemon water in every day and drink it all day! I had 3 of these (the other kids accidentally broke them) and used them twice in the shower with enthusiastic compliments. Elegant, well made and fits easily in the fridge. I feel compelled to update my review, there have been others who have spoken of cracked bottoms or other issues but to me the top where you pour looks like a jagged edge which doesn't treated with glass and if you just tap it on something, a sink or something else. Just tap it and the pieces will keep chipping. This is a very poor design, if this top edge was treated like normal glass it would be fine but it isn't and it breaks very easily and is basically useless. I will say that the seller…

He keeps it upright with a wine aerator (venturi) that fits perfectly into the opening as he pours the wine into the bottle, effectively aerating it twice after which it hits the punctured spot and squirts into the decanter. I wanted a beautiful pitcher for the dinner table during the holiday meals. This is a nice addition that has a large volume to fill 6 water goblets. I'm very happy with it but I'm afraid of breaking it because it's glass. This is a simple, elegant and stylish addition to your dining table. Nice hard bottom so it stays in place. The handle is nice, comfortable to hold, no awkwardness. The most fragile is the spout, that's where the glass is thinner, so handle it carefully. Very simple but cute.
