Levi's Double 👖 Rivet Genuine Leather Belt Review

This belt is JUST. The belt consists of two pieces of leather glued together (upper and lower part). Within 6 months, the two parts began to separate. I started using this belt for gardening as it was no longer suitable for normal everyday use. I have owned this belt for 1 year now and it has completely separated from itself. I love Levi's so much and I have everything from jeans and shirts to jackets and handbags but this is absolutely the worst belt I have ever had.

I didn't want to buy a belt online because I've always preferred trying on belts in a store. Also, I confess I've always been a bit confused about waist measurements and how they relate to waist measurements. Be wary of Levi's harness reviews. They are all grouped here and may appear to be reviews of the belt you are viewing when in fact they are different types. This rating refers to the Levi's "Bridle Black" belt. The belt itself is 1 1/2 inches wide and very thick. It's a solid piece of hard leather, not cardboard, sandwiched between thin leather veneers and sewn together like some dress belts (and possibly other Levi's belts reviewed here). The product description says the strap is 100% leather but when I received it I could tell that it was not 100% leather. I turned it over and it said "leather lining, synthetic leather upper". Very annoyed.

Bought to replace the same model that has worn out over the years. Delivery early June. I was very happy with this belt and used it 3-4 days a week for 2 months. This would be a 4 star rating. But that's not the case. The belt fell apart after two months of use and a month after the return date. When I tried to buckle up, my tongue fell to the ground. The part of the buckle that connects to the tongue has broken/disappeared. Very disappointed.

Good strong belt. I like its color and feel/texture. Sewing also adds panache. Although the size was a bit difficult. I had to order 3 sizes to finally get the right size. I'm about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weigh about 165 pounds. I'm wearing the 32W 30L in Levi's 513 and 514 jeans and still have some wiggle room. Hard leather? Check! Normal not sweet leather smell? Check! Ideal size according to the 2-up rule? Check! Last but not least, is the overall quality of the belt great? CHECK OVER! Here it is. I fell in love with the Levi's brand a while back after wearing enough of their pants and finally realizing that it is a brand that takes pride in their products yet makes higher quality products.

The original Levi's belt has lasted much longer than it should, having been worn with everything from work clothes to church. After studying the options and apparently finding the same belt, they ordered it. The new belt is almost the same as the old one, it fits well, the hardware is functional and durable, but the leather feels a bit different, it feels hard, like plastic. However, I would buy this belt again and wear it every day like the old one.

I tried both belts M and L (different "colors" M matt, L division) and there is a discrepancy in size and material. I wear 35th waist : 34 on some brands, 35 on some and "L" on house pants. M fits me, but I have to wear it on the 2nd hole. But it works (contrary to product advice). I have to wear the "L" (recommended for my waist) on the penultimate hole and it leaves a long tail sticking out awkwardly. I can move the buckle (great) and it sticks out less, but it's perfect for hitting my hand…

Good belt. Well done. Attractive. Goes well with jeans but the loose end was too long and sticking out. I had to move the free end of the belt to get into my pocket or wear it down the middle of my jeans. I have a 36" waist, according to the instructions I ordered 38". When the belt arrived the size was marked 38 to 40. Double size belts don't fit me. Sent the belt back and received a prompt refund from Revain.
