The device uses O-rings to prevent it from falling off the handlebars. It comes with O-rings of various thicknesses, but even with the thinnest O-rings, I couldn't get the tools out of the handlebars without a wrench. So you need another tool to use this tool.

I do not recommend this if you have Race Face Carbon Handlebars. a simple o-ring like this. The o-ring holding the bit slips due to friction on the Race Face carbon handlebar, eventually jamming the tool in the grip. It took quite a long time to get out.

I love the Lezyne material, but this one feels unfinished. The O-ring solution for holding the tool in the bars is finicky at best. I think it needs specially molded o-rings that won't stick when you insert the tool into the stem. I have to use something like a credit card to make sure the o-rings are perfectly seated before fully inserting them into the steering wheel. Works great. I've used the multitool a few times now. Comes with three sizes of O-rings that stay in the tubes depending on handlebar diameter. I use the medium size, blue, and I have to slide it in and out carefully or the end o-ring could come out of the groove and loosen in the handlebar. If it comes loose inside, which will eventually happen, just remove the tool from the other side and blow it out or use something to get it out. A bit of silicon grease and some finesse/patience works best.

I really like this toolbox. I ordered a size large. It fits my Ritchey alloy flat handlebars. The tool seems to be of very high quality and after playing around with it I prefer it a lot more than the typical foldable multi tools. When choosing a sizing tool I wouldn't worry about what bits are included as any bits can be replaced with whatever bits you have.
