Sliding cartridge won't slip

Lezyne pumps are excellent - the sliding cartridge idea. not as much. If the hose isn't routed perfectly, with no kinks, kinks, or pressure on the valve head, the cartridge will pop out after a few squeezes, or if there's enough pressure to simply hiss air. The cartridge relies heavily on rubber O-rings to create a proper seal around the valve stem without mechanical assistance - unlike a traditional thumb-lock pump. They will end up using the standard flip chuck that comes with their pumps out

Great product but requires bike pump hose or adapter option

This adapter is perfect for fitting into 90 degree wheels. The simple design with additional O-rings makes maintenance quick and easy. It is designed to work with Lezyne pump tubing, without which it will not work. I was able to make an adapter out of a plastic plug using pipe threads that I drilled. It fits on the end of my compressor air gun in place of a nozzle and works well for mounting bead on my shop 29x2 tires. This product would be 5 stars if there were more ways to adapt it for other…

Lezyne Slip Chuck

The black plastic speed chuck that came with my Lezyne Classic pump kept falling apart along the threads and would not hold up. I bought a sliding chuck as a replacement. It fits well on valve stems but needs to be held in place for a long time and slides. And yet you have to keep it absolutely straight or it will leak. I have since bought another speed chuck (new with threads intact) to replace the slip chuck. I was looking for something better than the Silca 90Β° cartridge. for disc wheels…

After 6 months (relatively light) use something went wrong

Worked well for about 6 months and then fell into disrepair. For the past six months I've been using this slip-on chuck to inflate tires on several bikes around our house once or twice a week. After about 6 months of use, it stopped working properly. Now it seems to be working, but not as it should. I can't tell if something is broken in the slip cartridge, but it only lets air into the tire in very short bursts, and it seems like there's a lot of back pressure every time the pump moves down (…
