Beautiful polished cage that looks great on a bike with other polished details. The clasps are a bit wider in reality than in the photo, so be prepared, this plaid definitely catches the eye. It's not the minimum. The weight is light but heavier than most carbon cages. I think Lezin could have scaled the proportions down a bit to save weight.

If you occasionally ride in baggy shorts and don't always keep the bottle in this cage, your shorts could catch on the edge of the cage and bend. The cage is very soft and mine was so curved that all I could do was bend it with a hammer and metal mold to hit it. It holds bottles fairly well, but not as well as Lezyne composite cages. But a very nice cage.

I was a bit skeptical about these cages at first but they are the best I have ever had. I have ridden hundreds of thousands of miles on bumpy New England roads with many different bottle cages and have found these cages to be the best. Bottles go in and out with ease, and bottles never fall out on even the gnarliest descents. Besides, they look great.

There are many cages out there and many of them will not fit my 24 oz polar bottles but some will. I chose this cage because it's very modern and pretty, no dull carbon or painted carbon/plastic which just looks cheap to me no matter how much it costs! Honestly, I bought these cages because they purr. Almost all "high-end" water bottle cages you see these days are made out of carbon fiber. I wanted a set of aluminum frames that reflected my pride in having an aluminum bike over a carbon fiber bike, and I wanted the frames to look as good as the bike.
