They look great new very pleased. But after a few months it starts to crumble. More on the screw caps, but it's still part of the overall picture. And I had some glossy car spray paint and put a coat or two of paint on it to make it even more durable.

The perfect finish for gray bronze. The tabs were a bit bent and the caps they cover the screws with don't match (they're more of a black color but I didn't use them anyway). The fit is good and the edges are nice and thin so they don't cover too much of the panel. Happy with my purchase.

Product as described. Easy to assemble. For some reason the screw hole on the back plate wasn't the same thread as the screws that came with the kit so we had to use our old ones (hence the cover didn't fit). But my husband said that the dealer drilled them, so the manufacturer of these caps is not to blame. Worn all summer and still looks great.

Frame - Dark Gray Chrome. Darker than in the photo. But it was what I was hoping for when trying to match my 2015 Ford Explorer XLT look painted a "Magnet or Tin" color. My only complaint is that the screw caps are not the same color as the bezel. (Look carefully at the first picture). The screw caps are black, which in my opinion spoils the look. The frame seems pretty strong. I unwrapped it from the shrink wrap and spent a heck of a lot of time polishing the shrink wrap that had the pattern engraved on the frame itself. With some elbow grease and a microfiber cloth I was able to buff it to a nice shine in about 10 minutes. Be sure to use latex gloves as it is a fingerprint magnet.
