Hard to compare to other projectors as this is the only projector I have ever owned. Automatic keystone correction in the vertical direction only, but works best with minimal keystone correction as focus cannot correct blur. The internal speaker is made of tin, so it is better to use an external speaker. I noticed a lot of lag when using Miracast, so just use it with an HDMI cable for now. It's small enough to carry around, which is the whole point of this device. I'm happy with the price for…

Good features but not too bright

- No need to lug around a laptop - this projector runs straight off a USB stick. That makes it very convenient. It also has an internal battery, so you don't have to fumble for an outlet or extension cord when charging. But on the other hand, it's not very bright at all. In fact, the light source is quite weak. This projector is only satisfactory in a completely dark room. And it's pretty inconvenient for classes and other presentations. I wish there was a way to change the light source…

Combines portability with decent picture

Bought two weeks ago, very satisfied. It can be used as a power point projector in a dimly lit office, and even small text is perfectly legible. It is also good for watching movies at home in a dark room or outdoors at night. According to the instructions, it is not intended for outdoor use. I understand that this means that if you install it in your garden, it should be taken away after use and stored indoors. The battery lasts at least one movie session, and the speakers connect via…

Great projector great picture decent sound

We ordered a ViewSonic M1 and a LG PH550 to see which best suited our needs. In the end we chose LG. LG has a good portable size that fits comfortably in your hand. It has decent sound, but you'll probably want to hook up a better speaker if sound is important to your needs. The stand is a tiny foot that doesn't really help much, I'd recommend getting a small projector or camera stand instead. So why did we choose the LG over the M1 when it's $100 cheaper, with better speakers and a better…

Not good for projectors in the long run

I really liked this projector when I got it. Nice display, built in speaker was quiet but pretty clear sound when you get close and I really liked how portable it was and it had 3 hours of battery life. I did a lot of research to find a reliable product that I thought would meet my needs and last a few years. To my surprise, after a year the metal piece of the charging cable came loose and when I went online to contact LG's website to buy a new charger it was a huge disappointment. They sent me

everything i wanted!

I did a lot of research before buying but this is my first projector and I don't use a screen. I didn't want to spend more than 500 and would stretch up to 600 including for a refurbished one if it was a good deal but I felt it was the best option for me especially as I wanted something that could be easily moved around and ideally wireless connectivity. since you can't switch lenses on these small projectors (and none of the full sized projectors i've found have built in wireless), lamp life…

Good feature set but poor picture quality

I looked at it as an alternative to the old LG PW800. It has Bluetooth and a rechargeable battery, which is really great if you need portability. I was a bit concerned that the PH550 only had 550 lumens compared to the PW800's 800 lumens, but there was almost no difference when comparing them side-by-side. Both perform very well in the dark, well in low light and poorly in daylight. Both models are very small and compact with a beautiful design. Both models have a pleasant fan noise. Now for…
