Thread pitch, diameter etc are fine but note they will not work with the original Audi license plate frames which come with screw covers. The diameter of the head is just too big and also too high. It just won't work. If you just want to screw your plate directly into a mount or whatever, that's great, if not a bit rough (Phillips).

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Didn't fit my 2000 VW New Beetle

The screws holding my license plate were rusty. Since I got a new license plate frame I thought it would be nice to have new shiny ones to keep it looking new. Unfortunately it didn't work. Those that required a hex screwdriver might have worked. I do not know. I don't have a screwdriver that would work. I didn't want to also buy a screwdriver to find out because the screws were already expensive. I ended up sending them back and painting my old screws black.

Cons

Cheap metal that GOES GOOD

My license plate screws should be cross threaded to hell and back so I won't be scolding this product for a fastener, I'll give it a try To remove these screws that I've had for a year, I round up both screws that I was able to put in. To put this in perspective, the cheap hex wrench I used to remove it is fine with no rounds, but the screws are now fully rounded. It's probably a good thing I only have two screws. I can simply mount the new plate on the old round bolts.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Misleading - Will not fit 2013 Camry rear license plate

The diameter was too large for the 2013 Camry rear license plate which is M6-1 or 1/4-24. I had to take the seller's word (that it would work) because the diameter and pitch aren't listed, but I suspect the ambiguity is intentional because most people don't bother returning the screws. The most basic information when selling screws is diameter and pitch. Anything else is misleading and shouldn't be allowed at Revain, especially if the seller clearly states that the product fits the car (which…

Will not fit 2010 Lexus RX350 rear number plate around

rear luke). The originals were pretty badly oxidized so I don't know if the problem is with the screw pitch or the screw itself. I can't find any screws in local hardware stores that screw in easily with one hand. The only screws I found slick are plastic (nylon?) screws sold at an auto parts store. I'm afraid a plastic screw with a metal stud (in the tailgate) isn't a good idea. I have to go to my local dealer to see if they have the screws I need.

  • cool product
