Lifegard Aquatics Amonia Test Strip Review

This test strip is a must-have for any aquarium owner! Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can confidently say that this product is reliable and accurate when it comes to testing for ammonia levels. The simplicity of the strip makes it easy to use, even for beginners. Plus, this product is affordable and has saved me money on unnecessary water changes. The only downside is that the packaging could be improved for easier storage among other pet supplies. Overall, I highly recommend this

I tried to test the ammonia levels in my carp pond but there is a plastic coating on the front of the pad which doesn't seem to allow the water to fully saturate the test site. The edges have discolored a bit, but I couldn't match this with the color coding on the bottle.

The test strip is coated with the test strip to prevent water getting on it. The readings I'm getting are not very accurate. I had a very severe ammonia problem and the test strip showed I only had a reading of 0.5 - very low stress levels. I checked it three times and it came back to 0.0 twice and 0.05 once. I will no longer order and will send it back for a refund.
