LIFT 59521 Control Air Spring Review

I needed this part to add extra stability to my Astro van when we are hauling a large load. It was easy to install and works great.

If you are installing this kit yourself I would make sure you have plenty of sharp drill bits as we broke 4 on this install and the only thing they don't tell you is that you would have to disconnect the rear air conditioning pipes (if the car has rear air conditioning like mine) or try to move them out of the way to drill them to fit on the driver's side, except it's a great one product is at a great price. Works as advertised: Pros: Helped my 2000 Astro Van ride. Provides better control when towing a trailer Negative: The airbag mount protrudes from the frame into the fender recess, leaving only 1/2 inch of space between the upper airbag mount and the tire sidewall. I sanded down the outside edge of the round bracket to get more clearance and from testing it doesn't seem to rub against the sidewall of the tire but it's close!
