Easy to open, HARD to close

This opens my elevator door, but it's a good thing I'm a strong woman because it's NOT easy to close. I want to keep my old one

Pros
  • Shock absorbers, struts and hanger
Cons
  • Fits

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ok but use old mounting bolts

Fits 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee and holds the tailgate as expected. However, Torx 40 screws are soft and easy to remove. I ended up unscrewing the ends from the old bearings and used them on the new pistons. There were no problems with the factory screws.

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised

good price. Delivery on time.

These tailgate shock absorbers look fantastic and are very strong. The only problem with the installation was that they were difficult to squeeze together to align the studs. The screws appear to be cheaper steel than the original, they come loose easily and I even bent one. ,, the ends are unscrewed,, so I had to use two old ends. they work great now.

Pros
  • Lift Legs
Cons
  • Operating Speed
